The Supermarket Adventure

All guardians know what I mean when I say that taking a child to the grocery store, or any store for that matter, is a risk. You are risking the behavior aspect of the child. Sometimes the child is an angel, other times screaming crying. Many magazine “experts” say to never take a child to the store when they are tired or hungry. Most of the time I ensure my child is fed and has had a nap before going to the store and yet there is still a fearful moment of “is he/she going to scream or accept they have to sit in a cart”. Today I had a joyful experience in the grocery store. This one particular cart, that my child picked out mind you, had a pretend car attached to it. My daughter had a blast while pretending to drive it while I was cracking up laughing unable to control the cart AND the car attached. It was a laughable moment as well as a laughable experience…I only knocked down Two displays. 🙂
